3 Days in Austin, Tx

The other day, I shared my weekend at the LTK x KS events during SXSW. While we were there primarily for the events, Michael and I also ventured out and found some fun things to do! Today I'm sharing where we stayed, what we ate, and some fun places we went!

Where We Stayed: Archer Hotel Austin

This hotel was beautiful and is described as Texas Chic. I would say it absolutely showcases the southern roots of Austin as well as the glam/higher end feel.

It was  also centrally located within the domain- perfect for those last-minute Nordstrom runs!

The customer service was one of the best parts of our stay. I called probably 10x before we even got there and everyone I talked to was so friendly! They even sent 2 brownie bites up once we got into the room on the first night for International Brownie Day!

Room service was never an issue and there was even a minibar located right inside of the room. We may have eaten M&Ms and Snickers for breakfast one morning!!

What We Ate:

We got in pretty late on Thursday night and decided to stay in the hotel and have dinner at their restaurant called Second Bar + Kitchen. Michael and I have pretty basic taste when it comes to food so he ended up ordering a burger (the fries were delish!) and I got the tortilla soup which was SO good!

Friday, we wanted something that we knew for lunch and Chuy's was conveniently really close. That avocado sauce gets me every time!

For dinner, I wanted to try the restaurant located inside of Nordstrom called Bazille. Michael got another burger (I told you, basic!) and I got the avocado club. Everything was so good! I especially loved already being in the store so I could shop!

Saturday, I had my event at noon. This was the morning we had M&Ms and Snickers for breakfast, haha! After the event, we had Panera Bread and we all know that their mac & cheese cannot be beaten!

Where We Went:

I knew I wanted to go by the Sprinkles cupcake ATM as soon as we got here. It was right across the street right next to the Starbuck's! Outfit details in this post!

After Nordstrom on Friday night we went to Topgolf with Michael's brother and cousin. I didn't realize Austin weather was crazier than Houston- hot during the day and freezing/windy at night! {Note: We walked to Topgolf from our hotel. That's how good the location was!}

After Panera on Saturday, we walked around the domain and found an iPic Theater. We ended up seeing A Wrinkle In Time and enjoying the endless refills of popcorn! We also loved the big scoops of vanilla ice cream!

P.S. I've created a quick little guide to Austin, Tx- quickly pin to your Pinterest board to refer back to.
