NYE Outfit

Sequin Skirt: Gianni Bini\\Black Turtleneck: Worthington ($10!)\\
Tights (super opaque): Hue\\Earrings: Sugarfix X BaubleBar ($13)

December is by far my favorite month! It's everything Christmas, sparkly, my birthday, and NYE, duh! This year I'm turning 21 and sooo excited to celebrate with my family &aymp; friends!

I am actually planning on wearing this outfit for my birthday because I just want to go all-out for once on my birthday and what better excuse than my 21st?!

But is this not the perfect NYE outfit for going out (or staying in)? I love that the skirt is the main focal point and the black tones it down for a simple, yet glam look.

I don't tend to make new year's resolutions (or stick to them, anyways), but this year I am really striving to save! I know, I know, "yeah right, there's a Gucci bag in this post!" but a girl can dream! I'm doing the 52-week $5,000 savings challenge from Gathering Dreams. The link will take you directly to the printable so you can start saving too. Do you set new year's resolutions? Let me know in the comments!

On another note, these last 16 weeks have been a complete whirlwind of stress and running back and forth between working part-time and going to school for 18 hours... Let's just say never again and I 10/10 would not recommend an 18-hr semester to anyone!

Happy Thursday!

(National Coffee Day) Target Fall Try-On

It's been a while since I've done a normal post here at The Indecisive Diva.. So, with National Coffee Day in full swing, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to show y'all just a couple of fun (coffee-related) fall items I found at Target the other day!

First and foremost, "I need a latte coffee!" But, really though!
I Need a Latte Coffee Tee (on clearance for $11.24!!)

Not coffee-related, but still so cute and cozy for throw-on-and-go type days!
Twist Front Tee ($19.99)

I loved this fuzzy black cardigan paired with this "coffee" tee! Would be great for lounging around the house or being extra cozy on those rainy fall days (they are many here in Texas recently!).
Fuzzy Cardigan ($20.00)
Coffee Tee (On clearance for $11.24!)

That is all for today.
Thank you for stopping by! Now, go get yourself that well-deserved cup of joe!

Around Houston: Kemah Boardwalk

This spring semester, I was given an assignment to create a "sense of place" using photography. I loved this idea and knew the perfect place- Kemah Boardwalk!

First thing's first.

What to Eat
My favorite place here is Landry's seafood 100%...order shrimp al fresca (the old way)! However, there are so many amazing restaurants all within steps of each other. From steakhouse to Mexican food to sushi, you cannot go wrong! There's also a Starbucks and a Dippin' Dots cart to cool off in the Texas heat.

What to Do
Kemah is great for adults and children alike with its impeccable restaurants and carnival-esque rides. We love riding the train when we go! There's also a splash pad with a bar nearby...sometimes even live music! If you're looking for something more hands-on, the Aquarium offers a stingray exhibit where you can feed them. Lastly, there is a full shopping strip with a cute little coffee cafe and pizza shop!

Where to Stay
If you can't fit everything into one day, Kemah has its own hotel called Boardwalk Inn. I have never stayed here because we live nearby, but I've had friends that say it's great for a weekend getaway and even for parties (think sleepovers with your girls.) With all of the restaurants/shopping nearby, you really get a great deal by staying here.

As you can see, I somehow managed to get M to come with me so that I could finish this assignment. We even took his niece and she loved the carousel (it's a 2-story)! If you're ever by the bay, stop by Kemah Boardwalk!

8 Books on my Wishlist

Today, it's all about one of my favorite stress-relievers- reading. Reading has always been one of my most favorite outlets- much like writing!
