Texas had an awesome cold front this weekend and we are LOVING it! I actually got to wear my boots. Stay tuned for some winter posts (Finally!). I've been waiting since October to bundle up in all the layers.
Anyways, back to what this post was originally all about: Ipsy!!
I love this subscription. For only $10 you get 5 beauty products to try out. I love adding new supplies to my collection and this is the best & cheapest way. This is really important when you're in college and don't have wads of cash to spend!
The month of November was probably my most favorite bag yet. In my bag, I received a sample size of Benefit's pore-fessional primer, eyebrow pencil with spoolie, duo-fiber brush, cream illuminating blush, and a face moisturizer.
First, look at that bag! Anything navy & gold and you betcha I'm all over it (the makeup sketches are the cherry on top!).
I have been dying to try Benefit's pore-fessional primer and I must say this does what it promises. My pores were noticeably smaller and the formula left me matte all day. I would recommend using this only in the places where you are oil-prone. As a cheaper alternative, I also love Maybelline's Master Prime.
The brow pencil is awesome. It's a 2-in-1 with a spoolie on one end and the brow product on the other. I received the color "Chocolate" and it matched perfectly. I appreciated that this formula was not too dark and was easy to blend.
As for the other 3 items, I have not yet gotten around to trying them out, but I will very soon. However, that duo-fiber brush is so beautiful (rose gold & pink!!) and soft.
